The authentic village of Kerhinet
Kerhinet, a traditional Brière village, is home to 18 thatched cottages, two bread ovens, a well, and a washhouse. Representative of typical local architecture and a pleasant place for a stroll, Kerhinet also serves as a starting point for exploring the Regional Natural Park of Brière. Open and free to access year-round, the village is entirely pedestrian. Follow the 12 interpretation trail signs that mark the village's paths. Don't miss La Chaumière des Saveurs et de l'Artisanat, showcasing products from local artisans and producers "Made in Brière." In the summer, every Thursday, the village comes to life with the local market!
At the heart of the village, you'll also find La Maison du Parc - Brière Tourist Office, where you can get all the information about the area. You also have the option to rent bikes and explore the marshes located a few kilometers away.
